CIVIL ENGINEERING BOARD EXAM REQUIREMENTS (2023 Updated)
Most of the 2021-cancelled or postponed board exams due to COVID were re-scheduled in 2022. Among these exams are the licensure exams for Real Estate Consultants, Optometry, Medical Technologists (MedTech), Environmental Planners, Real Estate Broker, Interior Designer, Landscape Architect, Master Plumber, Psychologists, Psychometricians and Guidance Counsellors. The conduct of the Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for 2021 was also postponed to 2022.
The application dates for the 2023 Civil Engineering Board Exam of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines are from Monday, April 5, 2023 to Friday, April 30, 2023.
Please be reminded of the following requirements to apply for the licensure exam:
- Most recent NBI Clearance
- Two (2) Certificates of Good Moral Character
- Barangay
- Church
- School
- Employer
- NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
- Exam taker must be a Filipino citizen and 21 years of age
- NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
- Transcript of Records
- High school Diploma
- 2×2 Pictures / with scanned picture and Remarks "For Board Examination Purposes"
- Medical Records
- Examination Fee Payment
- Payment of 900 pesos
The filing deadline for applications for the 2023 Civil Engineering Board Exam of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines is Monday, February 6, 2023.

Keep in mind that in recent months, the PRC has made numerous statements about the postponement of many regional licensure examinations. It included the ones scheduled for June, July, and August. Other licensing tests, such as those for Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering, may take place regularly as writing. Those who are involved are encouraged to join the PRC social media page for more updates.
The exam is expected to last two days and will include the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- Surveying
- Hydraulics
- Design and Construction
