For years, there are 2 main materials that are used for construction - wood, and concrete. There’s definitely a distinction between the two, which is recognizable especially if you’ve been building construction for ages. You can look at it from different perspectives, depending on what you're trying to build. But, if you’re someone who’s about to get a house, which is the more ideal?

There are pros and cons to both.

undefinedIn addition, wood is also prone to mold growth, and it also depreciates faster as compared to concrete. Most people tend to go for concrete nowadays because it stays longer. Now, people could argue that concrete is heavy. Good thing, lightweight concrete also exists nowadays.

Then again, as long as you know it’s valued, it’s still up to you if you want to build your home out of concrete or wood.
